***Southern California native LUCAS AARON prefers to do it all. A multi-instrumentalist, he records at home in his Los Angeles apartment, utilizing a mix of digital and analog equipment. His influences shine through with a love of mid-60s mod and power pop, accompanied with a more contemporary feel of garage rock and psychedelic folk. In addition to fronting local LA band HOLLOW FORTYFIVES, he has been writing and recording solo material, and Lose Your Mind is his debut release. Lucas set out to create songs that represent the world around him, on topics ranging from self-reflection and relationships, to nights spent out, days shut in, and even the street you live on. Influences you might detect include the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Kurt Vile, and Tim Presley.
