***Made up of the same three-fifths of THE SESS that make up BEATERS, here we have the drummer for both of those bands, ANDREW MONTOYA, taking the lead with his own fusion of late-’70s funk, ‘60s psych, and ‘80s punk and new wave. Pulling from a similar paranoia-induced vein as Beaters, ALE MANIA trades that band’s angry nature with a sense of dancing away the fear and sadness, with some room for fun creeping in here and there.
