Astaroth / Sacrilegio

***Ultra Metal is the nickname given to the scene that existed in the chaos of drug infested Medellin Colombia in the mid to late '80s. Astaroth and Sacrilegio were part of that scene and existed only for a few years, much like most of their contemporaries. Both band and human life spans were very short in Medellin during those years! This MLP compiles all of their recordings from a time and place that’s long gone, a place of violence and turmoil that created these frustrated youths, often wrapped up in the drug wars themselves. You can hear the desperation oozing out of these recordings; from the rawness that came out of necessity (unlike the fake raw bands of today) to the shitty equipment they played on, there is nothing fake about their metal. This is true ugly metal for ugly times.
