Blithe Field

***Eighteen unknown zones visited. Corrupted flash game files reconstructed. Cartoon floppy disk factory on the night shift. Point and click memories. Soft Core Hard Wear.

Lost in the loading screen. Perplexed at the plaza. Cat in the Christmas tree with the singing lights shorted. Soft Core Hard Wear.

Trick candles melting onto the birthday cake. Movie theater patterned carpets being vacuumed after hours. Plumbing beneath the water park being repaired in the off-season. Soft Core Hard Wear.

Soft Core Hard Wear is the new album from Spencer Radcliffe’s Blithe Field. A suite of eighteen moments made from synthesizer, sampler, and cassette tape. Accompanying the album is a full-length movie of the same name, comprised of warped and meted together found VHS tapes, color, and general video experiments.

Have a nice day...
