As the album unfolds, Sawyer delves into the annihilation of humanity and the cyclical nature of existence. Inspired by Bill Fay’s Who Is the Sender?, the final track addresses transcendental questions surrounding the end times, introducing the concept of a "driver" rather than a "sender" from a non-Christian, mystical perspective. Sawyer’s previous efforts have tended toward exploring the darker sides of humanity, and here continues this inner excavation.
