Heavenly Bodies

***Heavenly Bodies makes music that unfolds in real time. Built around improvisation and shared musical frameworks, the band’s performances move between hypnotic grooves, expansive ambient passages, and bursts of raw emotion and intensity.

Mechanics is the 6th full-length release from Philly based expansive and dense rock outfit Heavenly Bodies. Like previous releases, and their live sets, this release has multiple long tracks, slowly…. slooooowlyyyy…. building into heavy thick rock jams, some might call it psych, some might call it spacey, we call it superb!

But with Mechanics, also brings a new dimension to the long-running Heavenly Bodies approach. Layered arrangements expand the band’s sound, while the spontaneity of their improvisational process remains at the core.
