***ISIDRO CUEVAS Y WILLY CABANAS is the new Cumbia project from producers GUSTAVO NARANHO (G-FLUX) and IMA FELINI (AMANTES DEL FUTURO Y AFRODITA). Inspired by palm trees, coconuts, beaches, morenas and the costal life of the Yucatan Peninsula, these producers combine the golden era analog sounds of cumbia with dub and old school reggae wisdom on this beach adventure. The guitar driven melodies supported by organs, güiros and synthesizers are modernized by the deep "cumbia rebajada" (slowed down) style vocals with the historical context of Cumbia Sonidera at heart.
