War & Sex
LP $37.50

TBD

HYPSP LP 17

***First time on vinyl, packaged together for as the 2xLP set War & Sex. Originally recorded and digitally published in 2004 as two albums: Collateral Damage and G-Spot.

Collateral Damage is an electronic instrumental portrait of the middle east oil wars that have continued since the turn of the 21st century and beyond. Informed both by the atrocity of 9/11 and the anesthetic media coverage of the ongoing conflict in the region. 10 tracks.

G-Spot is a collection of domestic impressions looking inward from the chaos of modern life. A more whimsical list of avant synth and ironic musical languages, including a live-in-studio track with guitarist Charles Hornaday. 9 tracks.

David Javelosa is a composer, producer, former Poshboy recording artist, and technologist based in Mar Vista, California. Performing on modular, electronic instruments, he has created soundtracks for many of the major game platforms, served as music director for Sega, was a founding member of the bands Los Microwaves and Baby Buddha, and most recently has been performing as Microwave Buddha, featuring a retrospective of his synth pop work in the 1980's.
