Fantastic sounding/looking collection of the very hard to find 7 disc set from their residency at the very groovy "zebulon" in january 2012. This is the BOMB of the tapers pit to date, we can call it a "section" now because we have moved into the realm of COMpartmentalization regarding the "MV & EE" live sound. This document rises above the sonic meniscus of the prior efforts (april flower/suub duub) as we have brought the multitrack into the form and we thank YOU for that! Why not run hi-fi tape recorders, insist on soundboards with room mics as well as collecting audience recordings from some of the bands greatest "tapers"? Who else would do that for you but C.O.M. -> and the others weren't quite "lo-fi" and raw, and we LIKE that! We dig B-movies, B-music, global primitive…but we went beyond here. YOU are treated to intimate, extremely detailed and often synapse bending renditions of some concert classics and more than a handful of debut live songs. This is the stuff dreams are made of, not only the up close nature of the performances captured in glorious MVspectrasound but the varied moods of acoustic/electric/environments. Intimate duo exchanges, legendary trios and full on Golden Road, mellow chill and life/luv smoke.
