***RIVENER's self-titled LP is the follow-up to the Svengali Gaze EP the band put out last fall. All of Rivener's songs are composed on-the-fly—lysergic, shape-shifting explorations of no wave, noise, free-jazz and psych, with some elements rooted loosely in the rock tradition. Since its inception the band has been fortunate enough to book shows with many artists known for lighting up music’s outer fringes: Xylouris White, Magik Markers, Oneida, Millions-Sauter Duo, Samara Lubelski, Marisa Anderson, Spectre Folk, MV & EE, Landing, and many others. Limited to 250 copies and comes with a full digital download.
