***Deathbomb Arc is thrilled to present our second cassette from the blistering fun act, BAILEFUNK KAKEKO, who arrives again with a crew of exciting artists in collaboration! Coming from the thriving electronic hardcore scene currently going on in Japan, her latest includes collaborations with J-Pop star VALKNEE, BOTSU of DOS MONOS (on Warner Japan), and BBBBBBB."This is my first full-length album as BAILE FUNK KAKEKO.Building on the path that began with my debut EP Tóquio Bug, this record represents the current state of my music, mutating and taking its own DESVIO (deviation) far away from Brazil, in Japan. In this work, I focus on BRUXARIA, one of the most extreme forms of baile funk, colliding it with the chaos and heat of Tokyo to create a raw and uncompromising sound. The album features contributions from Brazil’s MC Kalyu and Yandrel, as well as Japan’s valknee, levi (STARKIDS), RYUKI, BBBBBBB, BOTSU aka NGS (Dos Monos), and rirugiliyangugili. Their voices and sounds make this project not only mine, but part of a dialogue that crosses distance and scenes."
