No Future No Hope by Defiance

Defiance

No Future No Hope
Puke N Vomit

***30th Anniversary Repress on Green Vinyl!!! Latest pressing of Definance's eternally relevant debut full length from 1996, No Future No Hope. Defiance cut through the Gordian Knot of screamo, crust, power violence and metalcore that dominated the mid-90's underground punk scene, opting instead to deliver a decidedly UK82 influenced street punk attack. The resulting No Future No Hope full length has aged like a fine wine (or spanged cider, if we're staying on theme), with a sound time has been far kinder to than their contemporaries, and a message of uncompromising political outrage as relevant today as the era it was penned. Oh, here's a fun suggestion: tell a middle aged punk it's been 30 years since this album came out and see how long they stare into the middle distance.
