***CJ RAMONE made his name as a member of the greatest punk band of all time. Nearly 25 years after that experience, it’d be understandable if CJ now spent his days resting on his legacy. However, since 1996 he has continued to make music. CJ Ramone's debut album Reconquista was unleashed unto the world in 2012, followed by Fat Wreck Chords debut Last Chance to Dance, and American Beauty in 2014 and 2017 respectively. CJ celebrates his continued undiminishing love of music with the release of his newest (and strongest) album, aptly titled The Holy Spell…. The album is full of fist-pumping punk, but not limited to it. The first half; kicked off by “One High One Low,” continues the hook-laden pop punk that fans expect from the Ramone name. “Hands of Mine” gives the album a country ting around the halfway point. Classic covers of “Crawling from the Wreckage” and “There Stands the Glass” harken to CJ’s musical influences as a child. The Holy Spell… closes strong with classic SoCal pop-punk anthems “Movin’ On”, “Postcard from Heaven,” and “Rock On;” a heartfelt tribute to CJ’s former bandmate, friend, and collaborator Steve Soto. From start to finish The Holy Spell… keeps the spirit of the Ramones alive while taking on a life all its own! (STREET DATE - 5/10/2019)

***Out of seven billion or so people on the planet, only seven have been lucky enough to be gifted the RAMONES surname. CJ RAMONE got the nod in 1989 when he expertly stepped in for Dee Dee, and played with the legendary punk quartet until they disbanded in 1996. CJ sang lead vocals on “Strength To Endure”, and even wrote two tracks for Ramones’ farewell album ¡Adios Amigos!. With all of this under his belt, CJ seems to just be getting started. Since 1996, CJ has continued to make music. CJ Ramone’s debut album Reconquista was unleashed unto the world in 2012, followed by Fat Wreck Chords debut Last Chance to Dance two years later. 2017 brings new fans and the Ramones faithful CJ Ramone’s strongest material to date in American Beauty. Featuring STEVE SOTO & DAN ROOT of THE ADOLESCENTS, and the addition of STREET DOGS drummer PETE SOSA; American Beauty continues the sound and style true to the Ramones. The spirit of ’77 shines bright on tracks like “Yeah Yeah Yeah” and “Girlfriend In A Graveyard.” while being unafraid to slow things down with “Before The Lights Go Out” and “Tommy’s Gone” (a delicate 90-second acoustic tribute to Tommy Ramone). With a packed tour schedule throughout 2017, fans can rest assured their Ramones fix will be satisfied. (STREET DATE - 3/17/2017)

***NOW AVAILABLE ON VINYL!!! By 1989’s Brain Drain, the RAMONES’ eleventh and least compelling album, the band appeared creatively exhausted. Rather than pick up a New York City/CBGB has-been to fill the enormous shoes left by departing bassist Dee Dee Ramone, the band chose CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH WARD, a young punk kid fresh out of the Marine Corps. Christened CJ RAMONE, the band hit the road in 1989 on an extensive world tour that culminated in 1991’s Loco Live album. Clearly reenergized, the Ramones’ first studio record with CJ—1992’s Mondo Bizarro—was their strongest album in over a decade and a return to the classic Ramones punk rock form that they’d slipped in and out of throughout the 1980s in their search for more mainstream success. CJ R sang lead on two songs including “Strenth to Endure,” a true Ramones classic. Singing lead on three songs from 1994’s covers album, Acid Eaters and four songs on the Ramones’ swan song, “¡Adios Amigos!,” including his own tune, “Scattergun” (Joey sang another CJ original, “Got a Lot to Say”), CJ Ramone was coming into his own as a lead vocalist and songwriter. After the Ramones disbanded in 1996, CJ Ramone continued making music, honing his singing and songwriting skills in LOS GUSANOS and BAD CHOPPER before releasing Reconquista in 2012, his first official album as CJ Ramone. Invigorated by the reception of the album and live shows around the world from the Ramones faithful, CJ is back in 2014 with Last Chance to Dance,...
